The 12-Week Challenge to Become Fabulously Fit and Abundantly Healthy has become a new life's mission.

 

I have had such tremendous success in just a short amount of time. Friends and neighbors are asking me what I am doing because of the changes that they see.

 

That is so encouraging and exciting and I am always ready to tell them about the program.

 

Since the start of my 12-Week Challenge I have lost more than thirteen pounds of body fat and gained substantial muscle mass. I am stronger, more flexible, and have increased energy and stamina. In fact, I routinely have enough energy to take me through an entire day of exercise, tennis, family, and work, and never run out of steam. At night instead of falling into bed wiped out, I have to use discipline to go to bed. That alone is a huge change in my lifestyle. I am so excited because, now, I am getting so much more accomplished each day.

 

Also, as a result of the healthy lifestyle changes that I have made, my moods are 100% better.

 

I feel years younger ( I would say 10 years younger), and I have regained a zeal for life. My expectations towards aging are much more positive and optimistic.

 

I love the example that I am setting for my children concerning health and nutrition. This example will benefit them for the rest of their lives. ~Marion

Dear Dani,

I’d like to start my testimony off by thanking you immensely for creating such a wonderful and uplifting program. As you know, before I started Fabufit I was severely depressed. I had just been laid off, I was overweight, and I felt fat, ugly, and like I didn’t have a purpose in this world. But then I met you! You and Brennon convinced me that I should try Fabufit. I don’t know if you remember this or not but the night I met you, you told me how special I was, that I was beautiful, and that I could do anything I wanted to do.

 

And I thought to myself, if this woman can make me feel like a million bucks in 5 minutes then think of what this 12 week challenge can do!

 

Well… let me just tell you what this 12 week challenge has done for me. Not only have I lost weight, 10 pounds and 24 inches to be exact (YIPPEE!!!), I have totally changed my outlook on life. I have learned that I am special and that life can be what ever I want it to be.

 

It wasn’t all roses though. For the first couple of weeks I stuck to the program by the book. I never missed meals or any exercises. I’m not sure why, but on the 4th or 5th week I started feeling really down on myself. I was missing meals and didn’t exercise at all. But the very next Monday night call changed those feelings and I got back on track. The calls are what make this challenge so special. For me it makes it so much easier to stay on track when you have other people doing this with you and hear how they are doing. Everyone was so encouraging and I have learned so much form them.

 

In closing I just want to say thank you again.

 

This challenge is so much more than just loosing weight. It’s learning how to be healthy, grateful, positive, spiritual, and how to find the good in everything and everyone we meet.

Dani, As you will recall when we first met and discussed the 28-Day Email Workshop and the 12-Week Challenge, I said I have been interested in my health for many years. I've read many books, magazines, newsletters, etc. trying to glean truth about nutrition. I've been an advocate of exercise, mainly walking, but I've also taken Jazzercize classes, weight lifted for a year 3 days a week, exercised with various video tapes, etc. I've known I was healthy in the inside because I visit the doctor rarely due to illness, and my annual physicals and blood work always have a good report. However, I was not pleased with my outward appearance. There were still fat deposits in places I didn't like. I couldn't understand why this was so, especially with all the exercise I did. I just believed the lie that this was a fact of getting older.

 

Your program showed me where I was missing the link.

 

My husband and I have consistently been taking all the supplements you've recommended; we eat the 6 small nutrient dense meals; drink lots of pure water; and follow the Body For Life exercise plan. Now I can say I see a difference in my body shape. I'm losing fat and gaining muscle definition. When we measured at the end of our 84 days, I have lost 13 pounds and 31-6/8 inches. I am amazed. I believe the combination of all the above has made the difference from my past experience.

 

Another benefit I've received from this 12-Week Challenge is the ability to dream.

 

I've tended to live one-day-at-a-time, and been more of a concrete thinker. However, since you've challenged us to set goals and speak our victories into existence, I've noticed I'm changing.

Hi Dani - Let me start out by saying that, in the past, I've tried most every diet (or whim) that's out there. I've enjoyed "some" success, though seldom long-lasting. I'm a 45-yr old male, working a sedimentary 10-hr. per day corporate job. I never really spent much time exercising, but was always looking for a "get-thin quick" scenario.

 

My wife, Anna, and I heard about Shaklee healthcare and products from our good friends (and neighbors) Craig and Marion Decell. They had accepted your 12-week challenge and experienced remarkable results. With "some" heart problem history in my family (and a concern from my family doctor), Anna and I accepted the challenge.

 

Was I ever surprised to see how fast, safe, and effective this has been!

 

At the end of the first 30 days, we measured and weighed. To my pleasant surprise, I had lost 12 pounds and 14 3/8 inches, but more importantly, my cholesterol count plummeted from the high 260-280's to an all-time low of 170. I feel great! I look great (some might disagree) ... and we've only just begun! After the second 30 days, I pleasantly reported losing another 12 pounds. I am eating better (six nutritional meals a day), I'm drinking over one gallon of pure water each day, and I've completely given up cokes and coffee. (I never really had a problem with sweets.)

 

I have so much energy and wake up now ready to tackle every day, rather than the sluggish start I was used to.

 

Anna and I are walking 3-4 times per week (20+ minutes) and have been doing the Body For Life weight program. I actually now have muscles. (I think I had some before, but they were covered with "body-for-fat".) One of the most exciting things was when Anna said she could see my muscle definition while we were weightlifting. (Just like saying, "sic'em" to a bulldog.) Now, after recently completing the 12-Week Challenge, who can believe the results. Fabulous!!! My the totals are: 26 pounds lost; over 41 inches lost; a desire to keep lifting weights AND walking 3 times, per week. I'm still eating six meals a day, and guess what!

 

This has not been a diet, but an absolute "life-style change". Who needs the red Porsche? I look great!!!

 

It's been fun and rewarding. All my friends at work are coming up to me asking what I'm doing to look this way. What a great segue for Shaklee! (Funny, even had a few ask if it was "Body Solutions"?) Dani, I originally did this nutrition program to lose weight. I have always been a person that would exercise hard for a while only find myself getting burned out because what I now believe was the lack of proper nutrition and lack of direction.

 

I not only lost 37 lbs. but I am now committed to my new eating habits and this from a guy who thought he needed 3 hamburgers a week to survive.

 

I directly attribute the amount of energy and the weight loss to the introduction of the whole food nutritional supplements in my diet.

 

I also learned as an added bonus how to refine my skills at goal setting which now leak into all parts of my life not just my health. ~Jason Moothart

 


 

I am very pleased with my results after 12 weeks on the Challenge. I have lost 15 lbs. and 16 inches! And that is just the beginning! I plan on making this my FOREVER lifestyle.

 

For someone whose metabolism was dead in the water for years, these past few months have been very exciting!

 

My clothes fit better (in fact they are loose---a nice feeling), I feel healthier and have more energy. And I actually don't mind getting up at 5:30 am to exercise as the results are so obvious. My husband says he has the "old" me back (we've been married for 33 years). Most importantly, I know I can do it!

 

I love the power shakes and the recipes you have emailed. Also, your emails were very helpful and encouraging.

The 12 Week Challenge has been a life changing experience. Dani’s weekly coaching was so encouraging to me. Each week I learned something new. I have always believed that exercise and nutrition were important, but now I understand the importance of balance.

 

I still have obstacles, but each day I am taking “baby steps” toward my goals.

 

It is exciting to me to know that I am not only improving my health, but I am also influencing my family in this area as well. I lost 7 pounds and 14 inches. After seeing these results, I am setting my goals even higher for the next 12 weeks. ~Sarah

 


 

Dani, here are a few thoughts about how I felt about the Challenge. Even though my husband, Bob has been somewhat of a "silent partner" he has done so well himself and has lost over 25 lbs. since Sept. and the inches have especially come off his midsection which he needed. He has been super supportive of me and my journey through these challenges. And Dani, I can't thank you enough for putting this all together and being the spark for the results we have had.

 

1. Where were you mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically when you began the Challenge? This was my 2nd Challenge so I felt I had gotten a good start after the first 12-week Challenge. I think what the 2nd Challenge did for me was to reinforce the good health habits I had begun since September. Since we were wintering in S. Texas, much of the 12 Weeks was spent in shorts and swimsuits .

 

Every day I was there I either said or thought about how very thankful I was that I had already lost weight and inches even though my goal was to lose more. It removed a huge obstacle that has been in the way of being happy about myself.

 

2. Have you taken steps even baby steps in this circle of health and what has happened? Yes,

 

I can see how all the pieces of the circle of health fit together and I have become very patient, knowing that following the program every day, even if it is baby steps, will get me to my goals.

 

Some days are better than others but, even if I'm not perfect,don't put myself down as long as I am moving forward.

 

3. What inside results have you seen and what outside results have you seen? I know that in order to change the outside, the change has to begin on the inside.

 

What I have felt this 2nd 12 Weeks has given me has been control--control to make the best choices and confidence to "dare to be different."

 

This 12 Challenge I have lost 5 more lbs. (a total of 20 since Sept.) and more inches from especially my waist, hips and bust. I have lost a total of 6 inches from my waist, 5 inches from hips and 4 1/2 inches from bust.

 

4. What was one particular aspect of the Challenge that you most loved? I think for one thing, being on the weekly calls was very motivating to me to stick with the program. And even though it was my 2nd challenge,

 

I felt I learned something new from Dani and the other team members or at least saw it in a new light every call. I loved knowing that I was continually moving forward in spite of little setbacks. I am very proud of my accomplishments.

 

I can tell my husband is proud of me and of himself because he has also done so well.

Dear Dani,

 

Little did I know when I began the Challenge Class over 400 days ago just how much I would need such power, strength and control in my life.

 

At the time, I thought I was joining a weight loss class. I soon realized the class was much, much more.

 

In Challenge I Class, I learned and learned and learned.....fat loss vs weight loss...importance of strength and cardiovascular training (and an easy way to work this into my life), healthy eating habits and the power of my inner self. I became aware of how all the components of the challenge plan fit together. I completed and studied the 28-day email workshop, read email tips and did not miss a weekly telephone class.

 

In Challenge II Class, planning and the weekly phone class kept me focused. Much of what I had learned was developing into habits and the food and exercise and journaling became easy.

 

In Challenge III Class, I really began to discover the TRUE power of my thoughts and words and how they controlled my life. In each 12 weeks and in the interval weeks, I began to set goals and added more good habits to my daily framework.

 

My spiritual life became stronger as I added prayer and devotionals to each day.

 

By the time of the Challenge IV Class, not only had I developed good habits, I found I actually enjoyed the food and exercise and really had to give no thought to doing them (like brushing my teeth). During this Challenge Class, I made real efforts to focus on capturing thoughts, and words and foxes. And, I again studied the 28-day email workshop to capture all the pearls of wisdom contained in this workshop. More than ever before,

 

I began to know without a doubt the POWER OF THOUGHTS (thoughts rule and I can cope with and handle any situation) and the TRUTH OF HABIT (discipline and consistency always produce a harvest).

 

Throughout the days of living the challenge life, I have shared the benefits with others, have done my best to set a good example, and have served as a mentor to my friends who have joined the class. I have lost pounds and inches and gone from a size 10 to a size 6. As I continue, I have maintained my desired weight, energy, stamina, and motivation and have lost another inch of fat off my abdomen area. Currently I am setting goals for the next 12 weeks. Like a bulldog, I latch on and hold on to something good and press on and never ever give up.

 

The journey through this series of classes has given me much.....freedom from the scales and weight gain, abundant energy and fitness as a senior citizen, peace and control in my life and a vision of good things to come.

Dani,

 

We did not take before pictures. We kept meaning to but never did! Miami even brought the digital camera home from work twice. Isn't that pitiful!!! I also, didn't take our measurements until about week 4. I had decided to wait until after the 12 weeks to do them again. I know I've lost inches in my thighs, waist, and hips. It's hard to judge my chest because right about the time I started the challenge I also weaned Ryan. I weighed 115 going into the challenge and am down to 112. I'm not trying to lose anymore because I have big bones and when I get down past 110 I look ill. I am adding a few carbs to balance it out and not lose anymore weight.

 

As far as other progress I feel I have come great leaps! I've learned the foods we should eat and the foods we shouldn't! I've learned how important it is to balance each meal - carbs and proteins - and have also added a baggy full of instant protein to be traveling restaurant so that when we go out to eat I have it to sprinkle on salads or pizza or whatever is needed to keep the meal balanced.

 

The entire family has benefited greatly from this challenge.

 

My three year old now says at dinner time, "if I eat all on my plate I can have dirt(dessert) if I don't eat all on my plate I can have a shake(an energizing soy shake)" We all diligently take our vitamins and supplements and I've learned from the challenge and private talks with Dani that our needs are all different. For example, Ian, my ten year old, had Lymes when he was 4 and needs more immune boosting supplements and I have also started him on carotomax to help with his bouts of chest congestion brought on by the Lymes.

 

I've also learned how to be a more positive person. How to turn negative thoughts into positive affirmations and in a world so full of negativity and destruction this is a powerful blessing.

 

My energy and ability to organize and focus has increased tremendously. I wake up with energy and plenty of time to get the things done which need attending before the children awake. This gives me more quality time and less frustrating time with them.

 

I can't think of anything I would change in the class.

 

I think it covers all aspects of health, if not in depth, at least enough for people to grasp the importance of why we need to implement all the facets of the 12 weeks challenge into our lives.

Thank you for the note, you are such an inspiration to me.

 

I have lost another 3 1/2 lbs but did not get measured this time. The first time I had lost 1 1/2 lb and 6". This doesn't sound like much, but I have loved it very much and I feel terrific!!!

 

I have had to cut the lifting for now, but am doing baby steps until I get the shoulder strengthened and healed.

 

I loved the email class and would suggest it to everyone!!! All of the writing has still been taxing to me, BUT, I will do it and I do think it is a key!

 

I have had some really "off" days but feel good as they aren't as bad as before and I actually have made a conscious effort to make a decision about where I feel I want to be at the time???? does that sound weird?

I have thoroughly enjoyed the lessons in the workshop. I looked forward to reading them every day. I was fortunate to be able to stop my work and read each lesson. At first I was not very dedicated to writing in my journal, but later got caught up and it became part of reading the lessons.

 

I have learned an enormous amount of information on health topics for myself and my family and how important good health is for a good life.

 

I have tried a number of different vitamins in the past and never felt much of a difference, so it was easy to give up on them. Shaklee has been sogood for me and with a noticeable change in my energy and feeling good. It took only a couple of weeks and I was starting to feel the difference. I not only felt better, but I liked myself better and was able to handle situations with a good attitude. I was having a big problem with my attitude and it showed sometimes.

 

My life is not as stressful anymore, I'm more relaxed and I can think clearer and focus on situations better. I was afraid I was accepting life the way it was before Shaklee and that there was nothing that could be done about it.

 

The very best change for me with Shaklee is that my blood pressure is normal now. This has been a difficult challenge for me for the past 5 years. Mydoctor had changed my medication 6 times, trying to find one that would work for me with few side effects due to other medication I was on. Even on prescription medicine my blood pressure was still not normal. I had seen the doctor every 3 months for the last 5 years for follow-up blood pressure check up.

 

I have many thanks for Shaklee products, I was worried I would not be healthy in my senior years and would have to depend on my daughter to care for me. I now feel I could not only take care of myself but feel I will live a long healthy life.

 

I have started my daughter and her family on Shaklee and just ray they continue to stay with the program and make it part of their lives as well.

 

Many thanks to you Dani for making it interesting and enjoyable to follow a good plan. Your knowledge and enthusiasm have helped me develop good habits. You have also inspired me with your wealth of motivating inspiration.

Hi Dani!

 

I wanted to let you know I love this program.

 

From the beginning of this program Jan 14th, it has been great! I have people every day tell me "You've lost weight". I tell them thank you and share how wonderful this program has been for me.

 

I think during the week what I want on my free day and when the free day arrives I do not want what I had decided because I am never hungry. I like working out in the morning and I am never hungry. I can feel a difference in my clothes.

 

I know that the end result is going to me wonderful. I know I can feel great for the rest of my life. I will look better than I did at 20 years old. I look forward to this program and I thank you Dani for this wonderful program. I also thank Belinda for signing me up with her. I am truely blessed.
